A lovers plea

Enlighten me to the rules of the cosmos,

shelter me from the effects of my stupidity,

enable me in all the right ways,

so I can be, truly me.

Trust in me to love you to my final breath,

believe in me no matter what may come,

confide in me your darkest secrets,

so I can love all of you.

Open your mind to my reality,

close your heart to others fear,

reach for me and hold me close,

in your heart and in your arms.

Your first stanza says it all.
Love is just that letting someone be all of what they are capable of being. Letting them grow and loving who and what they become. Marvelous. Well done and thank you for entering.

Oh. This is a nice poem that you have here. I thought that it was very short and very sweet. It is a great sentiment to express your feelings of devotion and appreciation to your wife and you life with her. Lestways, I think so and I would love to have some man writing poetry about me. You did a good job of expressing yourself here.

nicely put into words the feelings you have for your wife... print this out and give it to wife with a bunch of flowers and you dressed in only an apron... for a candle lit dinner ....
