Signs of Rednecks - Two Little Quips

A REDNECK DATE

You might be a Redneck if:
your date consists of going to the junk yard
with your girl and she's bouncin around sayin, "Yee Haa!"
and lookin in the junked cars for "cool" things.

A FLOWER "SIGN":

My husband and I went to visit his cousin. While I went inside for a drink
He was walking to the front of the house to meet his cousin.
His Aunt was planting more flowers in her garden and my hubby says,
"Puttin more flowers in, huh?"
She looks up at him and says,
"No, I am burrin bones. Here's your sign."

Author notes

Both incidents really happened. And yes the "girl" mentioned in "Redneck Date" was me. Ok so I had fun riding through the junk yard. It was very bumpy and bouncy out there. Any time spent with my hubby makes me happy. Even the silly things he does. I know it is not in a poem form but this is the best I could do.
The lesson in Redneck Date is, Have fun and enjoy life no matter the lumps and bumps it sends your way and enjoy the time you have with your significant other you never know when they will be gone.
The lesson for 'A Flower "Sign" ' is Don't be dumb. lol No seriously, stating the obvious is kinda redundant, don't you think.

Methinks Jeff Foxworthy would agree. If it weren't for rednecks we'd have no one, politically correct, to make fun of... just teasing.

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long
