'Alone In My Mind'
As I sit here, all alone with just my mind'
I envision what new dreams I may have,
or what new things I may happen to find .
Who knows, maybe a ride home,on a motor-cycle'
with some fabulous movie-star,
or a man, so wonderful and fine.
I can see myself inside a big giant house'
filled with all new furniture,
and a 'queen-size-bed' to lie down upon.
I can even picture myself as a princess'
because it's my fine time, alone.
I can be anything, or go anywhere, I want to go.
Being alone with your-mind, is really pretty nice.
You can make yourself be someone famous,
or just plain hide 'out of sight' for awhile.
You can even play games with your own mind'
just to test your-ability,to see what you really know.
You may very well find,you actually like,spending 'time-alone'
with your own mind...........................................

I can really relate to this. Whenever I'm alone, I just like to pretend I'm someone else, somewhere else, doing crazy things and whatnot. But I always find it a little depressing when I stop pretending and come back to reality, and realize that I'm stuck here, and that no matter how much I pretend, it's still not going to change anything.
Anyway, I really liked the poem. It is very well written, and flowed nicely. It also has really great imagery. Well done!
