you live way up there in the sky
can't see our lives passing by
I dream about you when I cry
can't be without you, I wonder why
I want you someday before I die
you live way up there in those clouds
you can see all of us through earthly shrouds
can pick me out through the crowds
If only you lived here, I screamed real loud
You live way up there day by day
I find my heart will not obey
the threats by me, that I say
you live way up there , I live so low
I can't keep up, I move too slow
you live way up there in the sky

A feeling of sadness and longing, this leaves me wishing I knew more about the "why" of the separation. Very emotional. Thanks for the entry.

inspired
Lonely feel to this imagery and metaphore poem, love
weaved in this lovely poem.
