Lost in The Blues

When I start a day without seeing your face
The whole day I'm left with a feeling of utter loneliness.
Your words drenched with anger
Strangle me and say you love me no longer.
The earth slips from my feet
My soul bleeds and my inner self does shiver.

Sadness of my soul eclipses the luster of sun
Standing without motion I see the entire world run.
I dig deep with in me
To find the last part of my existence.

Shadow of sorrow crawls towards me
and takes me into his grasp.
I get lost forever in the darkness never to be free.

    i have had a few relationships like this. I can completely relate. Sometimes that someone special is like a drug we get addicted to. You have penned this very well.

    I love the line- sadness of my soul eclipses the luster of the sun'. Very well written.
    Although you might want to change the 'dug' in the 9 th line to 'dig' as you are following the present tense in the remaining poem. May be it was a typo. Keep writing...
