Crunchy, munchy panda muffins,
Filled with scrumptious stuffins.
Crumble as I wolf them down,
On my way to Chinatown.
Mechants stand and stare,
At the muffin eaten with care.
They try to bargain for it,
But I am no nit-wit.
I gobble down the last bite,
Which makes them want to fight.
I got up and ran,
Pursued by Jackie Chan.
Luckily for me,
He injured his knee.
I escaped to my favorite deli,
My muffin safe in my belly!
Author notes
I wrote this on a bus while listening to music from my MP3. I loved the title, and so I wrote using the title.

Please tell me what you think. I know it's strange, but just go with it. At least it makes sense.

The first three lines had me going. I was loving it! The fourth line felt a little off, but it was still going strong in imagery and creativity. But the last three stanzas just lost me... it became less about the delicious panda muffin and more about the merchants, yourself, and Jackie Chan. And really... Jackie Chan?! Sure his name rhymes with "ran", but that's the only connection I can make of why he entered the poem. Which I suppose does qualify for my wish for insanity... nicely done. However, it still seemed less poetic than it could have been.
