With Clinical Ease

Missing image
I know, baby. I feel it too.
When each and every day begins
fresh and new with ache
and still as the day is through,
I’m so sorry my love,
but it’s there when I look at you.

They say the pain is worth the cost,
all the tears we’ve cried;
yet my heart, oh my heart,
my heart is so encased in frost
as every time I see a child
I wonder what we’ve lost.

I understand, baby, how your hurt remains.
They spilt your blood with clinical ease,
but look at me, look my way, look within my eyes,
I watched and felt your pain
and now I feel I’m losing you
that we’ll never be again.

    Sad

A very passionately sad poem that rings with emotion and despair.

Dam, you put cut throat emotions right out there for everyone to shed a tear on...this is brilliant...a good fresh perspective on the pic, ya see so much lovey-dovey passion stuff, this is nice change even if it is heart-wrenching, that makes me sound so morbid, does it not? well anyway, I love how you take us through the emotions, giving up almost at the end, a resignation at how some thing will never be the same yet wanting to hold on....great job...good luck

    in tears...

This is so sad. Truly a heart breaker. Beautifully written with emotions so deep they go beyond the graphic or this contest. Best of luck. ~Pamela
