You hit me once,
I thought you'd stop.
I guess you made me the dunce.

I cried for safety,
but again you struck.
why do you act like you hate me?

    This poem is really great, it really captures the cycle of abuse and at the same time the feeling of the abused. And in such a short time. Really wonderfull, and thanx for your comment on my poem.
