Pensacola Beach

Missing image

The brilliant orb of old blazes on high,

with wispy clouds floating languidly by,

against a canvas of aquamarine,

it is certainly an amazing scene.

Emerald green waters stretch for miles on end,

sugar white sand lie around every bend,

tensions fade away with the waning tide,

the storm clouds within begin to subside.

There's nothing about this place that is bland,

on the pier a pelican takes his stand,

waiting for a fish to be thrown his way,

an awesome sight on this gloriouis day.

The little children try to outrun the tide,

when the waves roll out they slip and slide,

The Blue Angels take command of the sky,

boy do those guys really know how to fly.

It's the perfect summers day at the beach,

a slice of heaven lies within my reach!

You have brought back memories of where I used to live Fernandina Beach Florida and the beach there. Such a wonderful picture that you have painted for all to see. I love the picture too. Excellent flow. I so loved this write
