As a coordinate, I mark the place
Where many a things can be traced;
Such as an island or piece of land
Or a storm's marker hitting the sand
For astronauts, sailors and weathermen alike
Geographically placed, an imaginary spike
I'm the unseen lines that so many have used
The perspective of *lattitude and longitude*
Author notes
Just a wild guess, but the lines of latitude and longitude.

That was a great guess and the poem was just as exquisite. You will earn an Honorable Mention for sure or better, but will not take the Gold as it is an incorrect answer. Definitely nice try!
I want to thank you for entering my "Another Wacky Contest; A Riddle" contest.

Great poem Storm...I am with you on that one as well.
Did not think we could put the answer in though so mine is a tad more obscure than this.
Cheers Hon

Well, I guess I'm not being too literal *laughs* Good write with those words; I guessed the same, but couldn't find inspiration in the words.
Good write.
