Missing image
walk a little to the left
slide a little to the right
walk out side and slam the door
take a wiff of the fresh cut grass and yellow flowers
hear the crakle of the pebbles pop
walk a little more and see the cerulean blue sky
smile and take in the beauty
snap a photo to remember forever
that today was an awesome day

imspiration from a quickie contest I just did
well...this is sort of what i entered and realized that it could only be 10 words so I shortened it.
Enjoy cuz I enjoyed writing it!

    Beatiful picture and thoroughly enjoyable read. Very mellow and easy to read. It's nice to read something relaxing after a stressful hot Michigan, fishfly infested day. lol Thanks for entering.

    Really lovely! The picture as well, the fact that your face is almost completely shadowed against the BRIGHT blue sky, it's so pretty! And the poem as well of course, I think it's a great representation of the photo. It's such an uplifting and optimistic poem..unfortunately I can't take a wiff of the fresh cut grass and yellow flowers, I have hayfever!! But oh well!! A lovely write and an equally lovely picture

      I look it at the beach and my face was slightly in shadow and I really liked that so I photoshopped it and made it even darker. And believe it or not I wrote the poem first then I was looking though to find a pic to put with it and i was like PERFECT! lol I love being uplifting. I like making people happy and I like being happy myself!! I'm sorry about your hayfever! That stinks. I have really bad allergies and they get horrible! I feel like death the whole time. I hope you get better really really soon!!!
