Where shall we go today, my dear?
I asked my Lady Muse
She said I don't know, what do you think?
I think I'll let you choose
I suggested a little humor
to relieve some recent stress
She suggested perhaps a poem
about a turtle in a dress
I giggled just a little
then said, dig a little deeper, dear
she said how 'bout the troubles
this book has brought you near
and so I spoke to Janice
suggested we needed to write
to display some of the frustration
and we did it, just last nite
So we wrote metaphorically
and made From Across The Sea
which made my Lady of Whim
full of smiles and all giggly

Just a brief note although we did indeed write a metaphorical piece about this, it was inspired by Janice first, not me.

*laughs* This poem made me feel all light-hearted. I wonder how a conversation with my muse would go? I love the rhyme in this, too, it adds to the flow instead of takes away, as some rhyme does. A beautiful piece!
