An orchestra of broken hearts
Screams oblivion to avenge,
Their fate sealed not by darts
That love threw in revenge,
But by their abused trust
Which gets the best of them
She turns angel wings to rust
As I spit on Gods dress hem.
In the hall of the damned
Where decaying tears loom
Shadows leap like flames
To cradle our wingless tune...
Your heart may belong to men
Where mine lies with darkness
I promise you with a poets pen
To take the stress and the mess
And throw it to the embers...
I want to be
A vampire to the helpless
A saint to the ill
A pill to the restless
A depth to the shrill
A heart to the heartless
A song to the blue
A talent to the artless
And to mean anything to you

to be all that you will surely have to be a much stronger person than I am! This was such a lovely penned piece!
Thank you very much for entering my contest. -

Good god, Have I been away that long. I am so sorry my friend. I had to take time away to recharge and come back with something more natural and real.
You are a true talent. I envy your abillity and insight.
Now, that I have been healed and able to open my eyes again, you will see more of me.
About this poem now, I like the flow of it and the imagery that you use. The ending in my favorite. It really displays your talent. I could never have thought of those lines and make them rhyme without the flow becoming stiff.
