A look that could capture
The toughest of hearts
And a beauty that always did linger,
About this fine face
A lady full of grace
The long dark haired girl
With one extra finger.
Pure and modest to most
But shunned by those close
The black sheep of her kin,
And her sister the mistress
Was in most distress
When Anne went and married the King.
Henry fell in love
With this exquisite dove
He found her exoticness fruity,
And took her as his wife
To cherish for life
Made a queen of this six fingered beauty.
Henry wanted a son
Anne couldn't bare one
But she gave him a beautiful daughter,
Well it didn't suffice
So the King took her life
Sent her to the tower of slaughter.
And his pathetic excuse
For her head in the noose
Was she was sleeping with more than one man,
She was also a 'witch'
So he said "kill the bitch"
The beauty with six fingers on her left hand.
So this a tale
Of one fragile and frail
Beautiful woman of ages,
Queen Anne Boleyn
Who committed no sin
And whom shall be remembered
In many of pages.

Wow I haven't gone over the story of Anne since about three or four years ago. I would love to hear what you think

I completely understand. Anne's story is a very haunting and touching one. I also can't believe how her husband went and killed her because she couldn't give him a son! Crazy old man. I love the last stanza, it really pays tribute to her memory, thanks for entering!
