Fuck Forever

Fuck forever, forever is dead.
It died with you, and all you said.
It lies beneath me, underground,
Now that I, the truth have found.

Fuck forever, it was never real,
And now my pain just won't heal,
It's caused by you, and all you did,
When you took the knife, and your life ended.

Fuck forever, I don't care,
After all, you were never there.
You lied to me and I was blind,
My heart away to you I signed.

Fuck forever, it was all a lie,
Why did you have to go and die?
I can say I hate you and say it's true,
But down inside I still love you.

Fuck forever, I need you back,
Before my beating heart turns black,
Bring back forever, I need it so,
Fate took forever with one swift blow.

My forever is gone, stolen away,
It's lost somewhere in yesterday,
So my forever, now I know,
That I must let forever go.

Author notes

I wrote this after my friend committed suicide a few months ago, it's about how angry I was that he broke his promises to me by ending his life.

    Very very good. Wow, this was so good. Everything rhymed so well, and it was just a great poem. I like the first two lines best

    SWEET!!! i LUVD this poem! some parts of the rhyming were a lil forced but that didnt interrupt the poem itself so KUDOS!!!

    this is very good. my friend is on the verge of suicide right now and I am trying to help her get through it and another one of my friends is a major cutter and I am trying to get him to stop so I sort of understand what you are going through....but I loved this. It is the best poem that I have read today.
