Black Mermaid & the Silver Sea

Upon ancient Bermuda stone idols
The silver green ocean proclaims her fame
The darkened untamed mermaid lady
Finds another barrier to cross and claim

A cold-blooded creature of wonder
awaits with your mentholated kiss
Screaming, your lungs fill with salted liquid
higher holy ground you’ll never miss

Frustration and shock have overcome you
captured deep within the belly of the sea
Hopeless for your own souls salvation
unquenchable lust provides no boundary

Yes, it's true, isn't it??? Killer Mermaids!

Right!! The little mermaid was a killer! I have suspected this forever. No female would be so unselfish and just give her man up. She killed him for being unfaithful and dumped his body in King Neptune's livingroom. Very cool poem, Tang!

    Gasp!!

Does this poem tell us that death awaits us in the sea because mermaids seek us out to capture and drag down forever in the grasp of Neptune's lair? I shall not let my breath get mentholated, in that case! I shall eat garlic before I go in the water. OH, Tang, your poetry is so fine and flowing, ever going!

      I love Garlic too!

We'll have Fettuccini Alfredo with extra Garlic! We can have a parsley battle over Champaigne too! Yes, my dear Neptune has sworn to capture us. His Triton wields a lightening power to overcome us when exposed!
      Beware my dearest!
Until I share my noodle with you!
