For every rose there's a reason,
And for every time you lied to me,
A petal has fallen,
To lay forgotten and stepped on.
And for every time you lied to me,
A petal has fallen,
To lay forgotten and stepped on.
Author notes
It's just basically a metaphor about how being betrayed or used hurts you.
Option #10
Once upon a time, some Geometry students were taking an exam. One student, named Joe, ran out of lead halfway through the test. As a result, Joe started asking people if he could borrow a pencil. But instead of getting a pencil, the teachers caught him and accused him of cheating. Joe failed Geometry.

This was very powerful, but... it just didnt satisfy me... it left me wishing there were just a few more lines to complete the poem... it's hard writing something short... you pulled it off better than most people, so points for that... thank you for entering and good luck in my contest.
