Strutting among the absent stones of another time
Stealing myself to never look back
Staring down every shadow
Losing my mind every moment
My newfound joys of walking in this nightmare
Come to me in this dying place
The ache of life around the bright places
Is too much to keep
I paint the dark pictures in my mind
Only to lose that which I have found
Walking here now is never the same
Seeing this place just drives me insane
Here I'm never lost
Always found is another dream
A separate life for the dreamers to be
Here they come, never to leave
