The women come here wanting painted wishes.
Our duty is to make them all come true.
We aestheticians serve them like they're dishes.
You might think that we're all a bunch of swishes,
That primp and curl and straighten out a "do."
The women come here wanting painted wishes.
We cluster round the customers like fishes,
We make decisions since they have no clue.
We aestheticians serve them like they're dishes.
"Let's try a different color, like Alicia's!"
"I'll trim your bangs, then iron them for you."
The women come here wanting painted wishes.
We're regimented better than militias.
We're proud to be an able-bodied crew!
We aestheticians serve them like they're dishes.
Author notes
I thought it would be fun to write the first 5 stanzas of a Villanelle to make 15 lines.
