Unrestrained Freshness

Cool spring rain kisses
       bared flesh

as Mother Nature begins
                a spiritual cleansing.

Mind swims,
       lost in thought

as eyes trip
     over dynamic hues
               swaying in the breeze.

Heart sings
      in graditude

as dirt of the mundane
        is lifted

and the soul breathes --

                            unrestrained freshness.

lovely poetry here, imagery and expression so well done; i saw the hues as a rainbow and the metaphoric cleansing as renewal as in spring a time for naure to renew... excellent...PK
