maybe you can weigh things over
i had given up so much of me
but it seems you never understood
at times we get into trouble
with all the petty things we do
you put all the blame on me
and i accepted them the way you want it
i make ammends and cope up to you
but you seem not to care
it seems you don't care hearing me
even if i scream to the top of my lungs
i can keep all by myself
and think it would all soon be over
i carry the burden with me
and you don't have to share the pain
now everything subsides
and even if i pinch myself
i don't feel the pain anymore
i am numb like a stone
you keep me that way
you taught me to become
not of flesh and blood
but of hardened soul
