About my own child this is not,
For I have not any.
But funny things others' kids say,
Of them I have heard many!
My sister's friend has a daughter, Lily,
Who was heard at kinder to say,
Something odd and quite unkind,
So my sister told me today.
The teacher told her poor Mum,
That Lily had gathered the other kids,
And expressed her opinion of Jane,
Leaving Jane's reputation on the skids!
For Lily told the other children,
That she'd nominated poor Jane,
And thought she should be evicted,
In order to keep Lily sane!
Author notes
My sister told me a story today where this really happened. Obviously Lily (name changed to protect identity) has been picking things up from Big Brother!!!!

Kids to say the greatest things! Absolute entertainment they are. My niece had a doll stolen on the bus, she knew who had taken it and was sick that they wouldn't search her bookbag, when she got home she wanted my Mother to call the police and have her arrested, said they could hook her up for a lie detector test and search her home. A much longer version to the story and much funnier, however the gest, was that clearly she was from a family of law enforcement! They pick up way more than we know...way more!

Your welcome and she is 7, never fails to gift us with giggles and grins. I couldn't teach small children, I would find myself in hysterics all the time!

Terrible, isn't it? A four year old using language she doesn't even understand to bully another child. Her mum was quite horrified. I don't think she'll be watching BB anymore, not while little Lily is around!!
