The Orchard

The moonlight gleaming
Across the water
In an apple orchard
With a pond of ducklings

Butterflies, mostly moths
Gliding in the warm breeze,
The chirping of crickets
As soothing as ever

These trees grow
In the orchard,
My favorite place, this is,
Wind's telling secrets
Of the orchard

This gleaming moonlight
GLOWS
Sparkling water
Humming a lullaby,
The winds word a nice tune

    Great write! I love it. I love nature. I love nature writes. The only thing I don't like about nature is the pollen.

    This was a very descriptive piece. Ill have to agree with the last comment on that note. Also you painted a very vivid picture with your words here. The flow of the poem was also quite good.
    All and all a very good read. Keep up the good writing and never stop poet.
