A fantastical display,
As fireworks starburst
Igniting the sparks of dark emotions
And a desire for destruction.
Intrigued, mystified spirits
Marvel at the sophistication
Of the illumination
As provoked flames dance across the night
Perplexed at the loss,
As the ball of kinetic frustration
Slows at the approaching flat,
Sparking - explodes
Leaving the darkside of the moon
Guarding the earth
In it's black shroud
Hiding humanity from the sun
