Author notes
A friend suggested I should comment,so here goes. We are all born with a compass. We all know true north, alas, sometimes we are swayed by the tempting weather of the south. So we leave all our responsibilties behind and go play on sandy beaches. Then we run out of money and are forced to return north...only to find the same responsibilities we left have now multiplied. Yet we're broke and the neighbor won't give you your dog back because your an inconsiderate so and so, and he's pissed that you have a tan!! Ok,Ok...I'm just kidding...We all know deep down what is right and what is wrong. My poem "Relentless Truth" explains what this motto means to me better than I can , or at least in less time and space.

Truth is a friend!
Your motto is very true. Truth or reality cannot and will not be denied. Depending on our relative position to truth it can be an ally or seemingly our worst enemy.
While your motto is self explanatory and as a good motto should prompts the reader to examine it and also a self-examination you should take it one step further. You might include in your author's notes how you came to choose this motto and it's meaning in your life. A well chosen motto. Jadon
