I want to be Happy...

I want to be Happy.

Butterfly, butterfly please take me,
Upon the petals you kiss and bless.
Spread the pollen life can give,
Million smiles I want day and night.

Croak, croak your mistress will come.
She is an angel devils hate to see.
Beat shadows of darkness right, center and left.
I want to sing your praise Mister Frog.

Fly, fly about the World so high.
Flapping wings like eagles up the sky
Greeting the breeze so cool and good.
I want to be myself, I want to be happy!

Please tell me what you think

Your poem addressing the butterfly, frog and eagle to do their part in making you happy...Last stanza had the rhyme of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in it...A youthful request, and youthful heart is present in this write..Bravo for your work!

I really like your middle stanza:
"Croak, croak your mistress will come.
She is an angel devils hate to see.
Beat shadows of darkness right, center and left.
I want to sing your praise Mister Frog."

There is love and playfulness in this verse, that is rare and wonderful to see. I love Nature poems.
I especially like the personification you add into this piece you created. Great work here.

A beautiful poem expressing your deepest wishes.
You can be no-one but yourself, and if you believe in yourself you will be happy and your spirit will fly, soar like an eagle, you can attain anything you want to, and be happy.

    All my love Mum

this is a very fairytale like poem. it has its giddyness and childens flare to it, but also a kind of dark underlying effect that really gives it edge. I like how you named the frog Mister Frog..tehhe.

You speak of things we see of nature's beauty, light, and strength that aspire to mind and spirit! Nature hints of grander harmony in being than we sometimes can envision with eyes and ears and touch. Still, each of us, also, is individual and uniquely expressed in being as well. I love it that you choose to be aware of the beauty around you and in others, that you choose to smile. Happiness largely depends on what we are grateful for. The words are simple, but the joy expands in this wish you sing.

I wish you happiness, too, Bro!
