Dare I take this moment,
where light settles amongst your eyes;
glistened copper- fixated.
Dance with me, for no more tears
can escape what lies within.
Your sorrow is my pain,
but in this time, frozen, let us hold comfort.
Do not fear tomorrow,
let us live for today;
for I am your beauty; and you, my beast.
