Hello and welcome to Hogwart's today,
I must tell you I have much to say.
About some students and things you'll see,
maybe a couple of ghosts or three.
There is of course mischievous peeves,
whom nobody can seem to get to leave.
Then of course there's the fat lady of Griffindor,
who is fat and talkative and passwords her chore.
Then you must know about Albus Dumbledore,
who in all truth is not around anymore.
He was a great headmaster we cannot deny,
but evil slimy Snape gave him the evil eye.
Snape of course being the old potions master,
who wants to rid the world of Harry Potter faster.
Then there is dear old Nearly Headless Nick,
who's bodies a mess and his necks real slick.
We will also meet kind and gentle Hagrid,
who'd mess with him - heaven forbid!
But he has a heart of gold you have to see,
he's really quite a jolly kind chappy!
Then you meet Harry Potter the one who lived,
where Dumbledore blessed him with all he could give.
Then you will meet his dear friend Ron Weasley,
who's personality and attitude is quite easy.
Hermione his other companion a brilliant witch,
impossible rarity if she ever made a glitch.
Perfect and care free these three are best friends,
they help each other til the bitter end.
Draco Malfoy who does appear to be evil,
is quite soft and most certainly feeble.
He couldn't kill Dumbledore for the Dark Lord,
that's why the incident with Snape occurred.
I hope you decide to visit Hogwarts soon,
bring back some cheer and take away gloom.
Then you can meet some more wonderful beings,
your presence in the Great Hall I hope to be seeing.
