Sister you have gone from us,
I miss you more then ever,
I remain lonely and alone in life,
Your death so final, so Forever.
I envision you berobed in white,
Standing next to Jesus, Our Lord,
With Baby Jennifer sucking at your breast,
This image claps my innermost sad chord.
You and Fred left over six years ago,
From this green earth departred,
But I could not join you, my work incomplete;
Fifty-eight years ago was started.
I am trying the absolute best I can,
To finish raising Susan,and care for Mom,
I find life depressing as I write and weep,
I apologise for my aplomb.
I was left (alone) with this struggle,
I walk this tiring journey alone,
Infused with so much negativity,
It erodes my psyche to its inner bone.
I nearly shed saline tears,
When in Mass we remember our Dead;
I miss you so; you will never know,
I love you , from my aching heart and head.
