Cry from the dark

we started to walk down the street
all the lights were off
and you took my hand in yours
for one moment everything was perfect
then i woke up to my reality
and that cry in the dark that sent chills up my spine
the cry that scares me still today
you dont care about me, you see
if you did then you would of been there with me
not out and about
with the beer in the backseat rolling about
sitting there with your friends not caring about the rest of the world
you said that you never saw the light
but we know better
you just were to drunk to care
after that you hit a car
bravo.
the girl you killed was a pretty girl
just graduated high school
was going to be a doctor
just like her father
and the boy you killed
he was a star

going to college 

he was going far

but all that stoped when you decided to drive drunk

and now there where her car layed

a cry in the dark  never fades
