"You're gonna die for your government,
die for your country that's shit"
the radio blares.
But what holds truth?
What is really there?
Die for your country, die for that shit.
Die for this hellhole, die for it.
Die, die, die.
That's all I have to say.
Cry, cry, cry.
Day after day.
The soldier goes to war,
while I go to school.
Has supporting the troops
become the cool thing to do?
I don't think so,
for I don't.
I never will,
and I won't.
So die, die, die, die for your country.
Die for this hellhole.
Die for everything you once believed in.
Now nothing's real, but the anarchists live on.

Anti-flag is the shit! I love this stanza:
The soldier goes to war,
while I go to school.
Has supporting the troops
become the cool thing to do?
I don't think it has either. Excellent poem, I love politics!!!
