This is a day the Lord has made.
It entered with this morning’s light
as a glorious serenade.
No time now for attitude.
With gift so great of one more day
I offer Him my gratitude.
I’ll rejoice from morn till night,
fill the sky with song and praise,
walk today in bright sunlight.
My life’s been like a tale told,
all yesterdays are now asleep.
Today, though, I am free to hold
and use each moment as I choose.
Lord, help me to redeem this day
and spread the blessed Gospel News.
