Lovers, tangled weeping not,
laughter rings as bodies hot,
whisper fingers touch, caress,
while in your arms a sweet, sweet death.
In closed eyes in seeking sighs,
lost in forever’s lover’s eyes,
sweep me touch me whirl me `bout,
sip the taste of lips from mouth
Capture moments lost in time,
never ending, so sublime.
bodies dew dripping forth,
falling as we linger on, in tidal time.
linger; linger; linger on,
soft scents roses sipping songs,
lips shall vow forever love,
soft silk petals fall from above,
sighs of pleasure are love notes played
and we, the dancers breathless laid.

tis was just me and me lovely poetic princess Laura tossing words around and whoa and behold a poem was born, see if you can figure out who did which stanzas ;) thank you Laura, your the most lovely and precious of friends, and wherever you walk it seems poetry is born ;)

oh my... ye have something here the both of ye. tis stunning and i canna tell ye how this sunh in so deep and wrapped itself round me heart and simply carried me away. i canna tell the difference between ye two because ye both blend so beautifuly.

I am big readers of the both of you and think to myself right now...what can be better than Joe's poetry...or Lurie poetry? Why, it's the both of them combined!!!
I'm guessing that Laura started the poem with the first verse, Joe the 2nd then Laura then Joe then Laura. Yes?
Joe always has amazing allitiration, especially with the "s" words. Then Lurie is fascinated with dancers and does word play with seperable words or sometimes different spellings. Joe is into repitiion of words.
I really truly enjoyed this. I can't think of two better poets on this site to make such a captivating and sensual poem!
