How can those people block
Someone so sweet as you?
It's such a lot of cock
They don't know how to laugh
They must be insecure
I love the photograph
How is it words offend?
They're not the same as blows
These folk have lost a friend
A load of sycophants
Who praise each other's verse
Although their poems are pants
Just keep on telling true
And soon they'll learn to love
Someone so sweet as you

Now this is 100% smarm, or to put it in Airforce parlance, arsehole-creeping. Should do well In Edna`s contest, she likes a bit of buttering-up.

Wonderful, I think she will like this honest verse. Good Luck.

My friend Pastor Peter grovel has told me who wrote this and I am pleased you avoided any Scottish dialectic references as they tend to make me puke.

There is no mention of God in this poem, which [in my view] is a major oversight. Otherwise it is a very well written tribute to Edna [who I have it on the best authority] will burn in Hell for ever.

The first entry from someone who is both literate and amusing. I love the line "Although their poems are pants". I'll have to ask one of my colleagues in the Edna entourage to find out who you are..... I feel I know you already.

I love it.....i wish i could write poetry like this!
