Tonight I think you may have done what you said you wouldn't do,
I'm lying here, so hoping not, the clocks approaching two.
I begin to see the thing I feared the most might just well come true
I took a chance to trust again, and now this makes me blue
So please can you just get in touch, I need you to let me know
So i can think what happens next, where's left for us to go
I wanted from the very start for us to take it slow
Now i found i sped right in and this has led to woe
The worst thing is I cannot see a truth that will be OK
And so I know tomorrow will be another shitty day
Hard thoughts for me to have and hard things for me to say
But I already know in my hearts of hearts there is no other way.
