Watch him
Tremble in fear as his body
Convulses and his form changes
Turning him into a creature
That knows nothing but fear
And lives to spread
and devour it
Pity him
Watch in silence as he howls
bitterly at the moon which
brings about his change
making him what he is
knowing nothing but fear
and living in fear
of himself
Cry for him
As he sits atop the jagged peak
alone, friendless, fearsome
nothing to do but kill and maim
knowing nothing but fear
and living to spread
and devour it
Pity him
As his form changes once more
as the moon fades and he realises
what he has done, and cries
and howls into the light
knowing nothing but fear
and hating the life
that makes him cause it
Author notes
This is my first write about a werewolf and I know the stanzas are a bit uneven, but it was quite a quick write - my head was about to explode so I just wrote it all down.
