Lies of once told yesterday’s
create forbidden glares
in deep black pupils of
the greenest eyes
-hidden
in a
curtain
of tears-
Brunette hair of dreams,
upon a beautiful face
red stained cheeks,
never looked so sweet
so innocent, so unloved
-brown hair
bleached to
blond perfection-
Light as the clouds color
show the truth behind eyes
so flowed with lies
gambling with the heart of
today’s time, yesterday’s hope
-darker colors
were definitely
more fit
for the season-

-
