At Sun Set

Looking for a moon that never was there.
Imagination had caught the stare.
The sun had not set; the day was not done.
And the luminescent moon was still gone.

Killing the feelings that never were there.
For the true feelings could not be spared.
The sun had not set; the day was not done.
Yet, the effervescent drink is now gone.

Finding a new truth that never was true.
The new truth was a fake and it knew.
The sun had not set; the day was not done.
Yet, the evanescent truth is now gone.

very good write. I loved the way you used the moon in your poem. it was truly very beautiful. a possible typo in the second stanza? but otherwise lovely.
