Just a little boy am I,
Fighting in this war.
Beaten to near death,
I cannot see anymore.
Miracles do happen,
This is true because I can see!
Drawing art of magnificence,
But no one can see the masterpiece,
Hidden within these pictures of mine.
Anger rises up within me.
Innocence dwells no longer here,
Hate and envy has destroyed my heart,
I'll get my revenge,
Everyone just wait.
Coming to power.
I can see it now.
I will rule this world,
Overtake them all.
No one will shut me down again,
I'll be the greatest of them all,
The pain and agony they gave to me,
I'll give right back to them.
Prison camps!
That's were they will go.
Make them all suffer,
They'll get what they deserve.
No one takes over my country.
Germany is for Germans you morons,
Get the hell out!
I'm taking back whats ours,
Maybe you'll learn this time.
Power is so precious,
So strong and mighty.
I feel unstoppable,
Unshakable,
I've gotten my own way.
What is so wrong about what I am doing?
I am only getting revenge,
For what they did to me,
Or other Germans who just wanted a living.
They all thought they were better than us,
I proved them wrong.
But not for long.
Everything started turning around,
I was losing my power,
Everyone really hates me,
All because I wanted my country back.
Well this is the end,
Of the war and of me.
I lost it all and with it,
They'll lose me.

Hitler.
My favorite history person.
World War II obsessed.
Fought in WWI, lost his eyesight.
Regained his eyesight,
Painted wonderful pictures but everyone rejected them.
He wanted to get into an art school but was rejected as well (Jews ran it) They were the wealthy ones.
Decided to take over his country and rid it from all non-Germans.
Lost the war and committed suicide.

You really showed talent in this poem because Hitler was probably thinking something like that during and up to the time of his death. Well done!

Now, that was different... Thanks for entering this Hitler poem that was written from a quite different point of view than usually... And it's very thought-provoking...
But... just curious... what do you think about him / your favourite history person in which way?
(Please change "cuz" into "cause", I can't stand that one...)

Hitler. My favorite person in history. Not because of what he did. I don't condone it, I just believe that every person feels that way. Unexcepted. He had some great military tactics and other ways he did things. He was a brilliant man and great artist but is over looked for the "bad" he did in history. He's not an "evil person." People can't see past the bad he did. I do not at all look up to what he did and everything. I am a Jew so don't think I hate them or something, I just relate with him a lot.

People would think that your just as crazy for making Hitler one of your most likey people in history, but I can see why (not that I would choose that person). I like how you took him and his point of view as your poem. Very good method...good luck.

Yes, a lot of people think of me as crazy because Hitler is someone I love in history. People think of him as a evil person and everything but there is so much more to him. He was just a demented freak who decided to kill all the Jews... as people think. I want people to look at him different... not to condone what he did but look at some of the good stuff he did.
