Lighting Strikes

The rain falls and she wakes up.
She sees the lighting and hears the thunder.
The door bangs open and she walks outside in the rain.
The lighting is really bad, but she isn't afraid.
She goes into the street and looks up.
The sky is dark and the lighting flashes.
She starts to dance in the rain when a lighting
strike hits the ground nearby.
She doesn't care though she just keeps dancing
wishing the lighting would take her to a better
place. She learned long ago not to fear the
lighting, that it isn't scary. So as
she dances, the lighting hits the ground all
around her and finally it hits her.
She knew not to fear the lighting that it would
take her to someplace better and it has.
She is away from the things she did fear and
she is in a better, happier place.
