"signs of truth"

I felt a raindrop fall from heaven,
it fell upon my face.
I looked to the sky.. I looked for god..
and I saw a hero dance for the sun

so much trust, i feel your hands grip around my heart.
but I trust you, I trust the taste of your lips.
please, have your way with me.

I felt a hand lay across my neck,
I call out, "god?"
I wished it was you..

I may live a life of crime,
I may live a good life.
But I'm alone, so what does it matter?
My influence is a minimal risk.

searching for heaven over the rainbow,
under the covers,
within your friends.
So who do you trust?
do you trust me?
I've never been close to god but you can still trust me..

I felt a raindrop fall from the sky,
it fell upon my face.
I look down at the earth,
and I'm surrounded by flowers, and how lovely.
could you imagine how lovely?

I thought I heard someone call out my name
and I prayed for god..
but I wished for you, could it have been you?

I thought I saw a hero dancing for the sun,
but why doesn't she dance for god?
she puts her hands around my heart and let me taste of her lips

does she trust me?
so do you trust me?

I told you to have your way with me,
and how lovely it'd be.
could you imagine how lovely?

I felt heaven wash my dirty face..
I look around and I wonder, "where did all these flowers come from..?"

Interesting...We sometimes change opinion based on what we see but perhaps we should learn to decide what to believe first.
