The night brushes by us,
hearts lithe, like meadow reeds,
dark breezes lay upon the grass;
at your touch, I feel moon drops
run down my eyes like joyful children;
Your kisses, an unhurried tide
reach for me like the moon,
You make music in my soul,
though cliché I'll say it anyway
you touch a chord in me, once broken;
I brush the silky strands
that rest upon your furrowed brow,
dark as the nightmares
lived out on the other side;
We lay unmoving
as the sun rises from its place
brighter and warmer then yesterday;
suddenly voices, loud and confused,
open our eyes, my soul drained once again;
I'll shut out the news
for each morning
it comes to steal my dreams,
but I go on pretending
these tears are moon drops
our little boys stars
and my pillow, well I'll
keep imangining it's your heart.

Very nice job. I like this, the swell of emotion when someone comes home after a long period of time. The joy and then the saddness of when they have to leave you once more. All that emotion was portrayed very well. Great job keep it up.
Never give up
