Falling
Endlessly falling,
Reaching my slow hands out
Embracing the drop,
Smiling at the fleeting view
Waiting for the quickest stop.
Remembered dreams in my head
Contented failings
What was said ?
Entering now the blackened road
Rushing faster shed the load
Fists are balled
Stomach tight
Oh not now, will i die of fright?
I see the bottom now flying up to me,
Mouth so dry, need some tea.
What will happen when I'm dead ?
Will i notice ?
Oh my God she's still in bed....
Falling....Falling
Yes endlessly falling...
Close my eyes here it comes
Time to die now, oh what fun ....

Excellent title and beautiful background there.I just loved it.

I
Like it -
Vertigo...
Dark indeed and with swirling ambivalence; in the poem you seem to both welcome and dread your landing to the same degree... reads as if written on the cusp between sleeping and waking. Between worlds...
