The hair of the dog that bit you
Your face as white as snow
Must have strength, you didn't die
Night was fun, full of ventures
Hope you find your hand made dentures
Who taught you this life of chaos
Turning tables, throwing punches
Downing hard core
Chased with moon shine
Finding fun in obliviation
Can't imagine living long
Great fun while it lasted
Your face as white as snow
Must have strength, you didn't die
Night was fun, full of ventures
Hope you find your hand made dentures
Who taught you this life of chaos
Turning tables, throwing punches
Downing hard core
Chased with moon shine
Finding fun in obliviation
Can't imagine living long
Great fun while it lasted

I really like it but it seems too final please dont write like that it makes me very sad -

In life there are many sad things! If we did not know sad, how would we recognize happy! I love to write happy and love filled poems the most but once in a while a contest or some one needs to hear sad os I write it. Only in pursuit of happier days and more fun filled writes. I do appreciate your concern for the poem though and am happy that you did like it. In the future I will write happy ones and make a note if they are sad ones. Hope that helps my dear! Your friend, Don

Thank you Mook!! Yes, those were the days! I think our inner nature stays with us even if we refine it over time. Our lifelong basics are what gives us strength and power to cope and deal with issues each day. The rest is cosmetics!! Thanks for the applause and the excellent comment my dear!! Your pal, Don
