Under my head, above my feet,
I can surely feel it, but it doesn't feel real,
Damp air colliding with my face,
Mixing with my sour tears,
Forgive and forget.
Flashing pictures in my head,
Slowly, they begin to fade to ashes,
I remember when I used to reach out,
For nothing, and tripped on my mistakes,
Forgive and never forget.
Falling now, there's nothing to stop me,
It's ok, the pain in me comforts my fear,
To die is not the case, but to leave it all behind,
Never had the chance to confront them,
Never forgive, yet forget.
Close my eyes, I will enjoy this,
Tangled issues I left with guilt,
Trying to make things right got things worse,
A quick escape with a tender accident,
Can't forgive nor forget.
Every mistake has a moral to be learnt,
These jagged rocks getting closer now,
To think back to my life, one thing I learnt,
Never forgive and never forget, even if you do,
They never forgive and they never forget.
