When you ask me why
I didn't call to say
"I love you
happy fathers day"

I'll tell you
dad

because
I never got a "happy seventeenth birthday"
or a "hey, how are you today?"

or how about a "I miss you."
or maybe a "just wanted to say hi."

I never got a "don't worry,
everything will be okay,"
when I called you crying
thinking I wanted to die...

So this fathers day,
I'm not calling,
and I won't feel bad...

I won't regret this time..

now you know how much it hurts...

    Wow, I'm so sorry ur relationship with ur father is so bad. Mine is getting close. heh. Well, I really liked this poem. You did a great job on it. If you want you can read my father's day poem. It's the last one I wrote. Kudos to you on such a great poem!!!
