Love that we Share.

Never before had I inhaled petunias
Breathing in roses was something quite new
I'd never had lungs filled with blossoms
Until I was out in the garden with you.

Never before had I tasted a rainbow
Eating the clouds up was something unique
I'd never had a mouthful of sunshine
Until you pulled me from a world that was bleak.

Never before had I been truly joyous
Caring for someone was something quite rare
I'd never had a heart full of gladness
Until I discovered the love that we share.

    I love those lines, as I love the everything else in your poem. You make the love sound so beautiful, because of all the imagery. It's so poetic and beautiful and just perfect. Good job!

    OK~ OK~ wow you have improve remarkably! Wow ~ I love the structure... The rhyming scheme, the relation from the 1st line and the 3rd line... with the end words relating to one another~ I'm not positive if that was done on purpose as if (planned) or not... Simply cause you've done it in three stanzas I would assume yes... You did a great job Nice job! Thanks for entering the contest ~ best of luck to you!
