Sometimes I wish the world was black and white
Then I could hide away from the light
With blue-black eyes and hidden scares
I’ve been trying way too hard
Falling freely
My feet have left the ground
Blind eyes leave me drowning
There is nothing left for me now
Laying on the bed
Eyes wide shut
The ghost of me let out
World of gray
All comfort gone from site
A savor's hand as well
Transparent prisoner behind metal bars
Nothing else can bring me away from here now
There is pain in my every step
and a need to find a way out.
Hope is lost by the second
In faults of mine and others
My body aches to be saved
As I struggle to be me again
Please tell me what you think

This is a very powerful piece. You portrayed your thoughts well and painted a very vivid picture here. I liked the lines
"Transparent prisoner behind metal bars
Nothing else can bring me away from here now
There is pain in my every step
and a need to find a way out."
Well done. Keep up the good writing.

Even though the thoughts and ideas and emotions here are so universal that we can all relate to them, you have presented them in such a way as to breathe new life into them. Thank you for sharing and best wishes to you. Keep that pen handy dear poet. ~Midnight Lace

Amazing
A savors hand so far away
Nothing else can bring me away from here
Transparent prisoner behind metal bars
I need to find my way out.
Hope is lost by the second
While blind eyes leave me drowning
Lost in faults of mine and other
I struggle to be me again
You have a very awesome style here, I love this!
