leaves taken from a tree
falling down under my path
the unholy hears me walk
stepping over dead words
reasons to love are gone
as i sit crying in the dark
dark green my eyes turn
as i weep my tired soul out
wont you take me to Eden?
let me ride upon your wings
fly away from the summoned storm
away from everything i never thought before

Great write
This is a great write, I love the imagery here and "dark green my eyes turn
as i weep my tired soul out"
this would have to be my favorite line. great job!
keep the ink flowing

This is heartbreaking, such a lovely poem.
"wont you take me to Eden?"
I love this line.
