Blinded by love,
I was naive not to realize,
my love was unrequited.
Anger and hatred,
took control...
Hand grasped a chopping knife,
and blood,everywhere...
But why do I mourn,
when it's time for celebration?
Why guilt,not joy?
Why do I miss you,
still loving you...
I can't forget you...
Your smile...your warmth...your touch...
You destroyed my heart,
throwing it away like garbage.
You were unfaithful to me...

If only the (metaphorical) heart were as voluntary a muscle as the eyelid, fluttering to close automatically at something incandescent, yet able to be opened at will to see that the light is an approching train!
